Uruemuesiri Oghen is a corporate lawyer with over 20 years’ experience in providing diverse Secretarial, legal, HR management, Corporate Governance and Compliance services. She has versatile professional experience in Business/Board Advisory, Secretariat management and implementation of contractual objectives to deliver on Stakeholders expectations.

She is well versed in insurance practices having worked in the sector for over 10years; during which she held various leadership positions of increasing responsibilities and complexities. She is a certified Scrum Master and is also Certified in Enterprise Risk Governance. She holds an LLB degree from the Delta State University as well as M.Sc in Global Human Resource Management from the University of Liverpool, UK. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) and a Fellow, Institute of Management Consultants.

She has competencies in strategic leadership, talent management, business process improvement and board complexities; able to quickly assess needs and provide tools to resolve difficulties, enhance learning, and improve performance. In her personal space, she likes to contribute to people development and thus mentors many younger colleagues; she is also an avid reader and lifelong learner.
